Governor Walz says he understands that Minnesota bar and restaurant owners are upset about not being able to fully re-open for customers yet. And he says it’s being addressed this week…

“If you’re a business owner we want to make sure that when we open up again you stay open, we want to make sure you’re not put in a position where people are getting sick in your premises and that we simply created a pathway that we’ll talk about Wednesday to see how do we do that in an orderly manner in the very near future.”

On Monday, Walz lifted many restrictions on his executive stay at home order for retail businesses, but has said he’d likely be waiting–until possibly June 1st–before announcing a decision to reopen bars and restaurants.
