21 members of the Minnesota National Guard–in coordination with the state Health Department–are using mobile teams to increase testing at long-term care facilities amid COVID-19.

“The goal is to locate individuals who may have been infected so we can have them isolated them from the rest of the vulnerable population to decrease the amount of additional individuals to be infected.”

Major Scott Hawks says the teams are made up of a combination of Army and Air National Guardsmen–all with medical training.
