Some positive news was reported in Monday’s data from the Minnesota Department of Health.

“The COVID-19 hospital measures are fairly stable,” said Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcom. “We saw a decrease of 11 from Friday to Saturday and a net increase of just one on Sunday.”

Malcom says most Minnesota residents who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered.

“Over two-thirds of the total cumulative positive COVID-19 cases have now been released from isolation,” said Malcom.

Malcom says the state has been tracking laboratory confirmed tests since March Sixth. The state reported nine coronavirus deaths Monday. Malcom says that’s the lowest one-day total in the last month.
