There were 20 new COVID-19 deaths in Minnesota on Sunday–bringing the state total to 578.

16 of those who died were residents of long-term care facilities or assisted living. The Minnesota Department of Health reported 481 new positive COVID-19 cases Sunday–increasing the state’s totals to 11,271 cases. As of Sunday, 434 Minnesotans were hospitalized with coronavirus and 199 were in intensive care.
