The Minnesota National Guard is conducting statewide flyovers in recognition of those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic response. The flights are part of a nationwide effort to recognize health care workers, emergency responders, food industry and other essential workers.

“And at this time we really want the front-line workers to know that the military, the Minnesota national guard, the 148th fighter wing and the 133rd airlift wing are so proud of those front-line workers.”

Retired National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Audra Flanagan says flight paths will follow the Mississippi through communities including Brainerd, Little Falls, Monticello, Rochester, Saint Cloud and the Twin Cities metro area.
