Limited access to the Minnesota State Capitol building means less work being done during the legislative session.

“Right now it’s only possible to do two committee meetings at a time,” said State Representative Jack Considine of Mankato. “During the session, we were doing four and five at a time. We still want to be as open and transparent as possible and the house video streaming system can only handle two meetings at a time.”

Considine says he had a half a dozen bills he was working on in the Corrections Committee that he chairs that will have to wait until the next legislative session.
