As consumers and elected officials watch for changes in the food supply amid COIVD-19 concerns, President of the Minnesota Grocers Association Jamie Pfuhl has this advice for shoppers:

“The best thing that people can do, we’re still getting deliveries, there is still food out in the food chain, so there is no need to panic, please just stay calm and buy what you need for your household.”

President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order forcing meat processing plants to keep working during the coronavirus pandemic. That’s after numbers showed meat production capacity could fall by as much as 80-percent.
