The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Minnesota or NAMI is offering a variety of online mental health classes for May. NAMI Executive Director Sue Abderholden says classes include Creating Caring Communities, Mental Health and the Workplace…

“And we also have a wellness series, one of them is called Keep in Touch, so how can you connect with others when we’re practicing social or physical distancing and we’re also going to be doing mental illness and crisis communication strategies really experiencing those signs and symptoms.”

Abderholden says the free classes will be held online on Zoom and are designed for family members and caregivers, persons living with a mental illness, service providers and the general public. A complete list of available classes can be found at namimn.org.
