Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura says he’s “testing the waters” for a possible presidential bid.

Ventura tweeted, “if I were going to run for president, the Green Party would be my first choice.” He says he authorized a letter of interest to the Greens, but hasn’t filed anything. The retired professional wrestler was elected governor in 1998 as a Reform Party candidate. Ventura has considered running for president in previous elections. He served as mayor of Brooklyn Park in the early 1990s.
