Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made it official Thursday extending distance learning for K-12 students until the end of the academic year. The Governor had a special message to the graduating class of 2020.
“You will not be defined by staying home and missing proms and graduations,” said Walz. “You will be defined by understanding how interconnected our world is and what it means to come together and solve hard problems. I want you to know these decisions being made, they break our heart.”
Walz says it’s too early to make any decision on distance learning into the fall.
