Mayo Clinic expert, Doctor Matthew Binnicker told state lawmakers Tuesday the state is “in a better spot” with COVID-19 testing supplies than several weeks ago — probably due mostly to more diagnostic companies bringing their tests to market:

“Will that continue to be the case? I hope so. I think as we start to see more testing in the asymptomatic population — so workers, citizens trying to get back to business — that may put a further demand on testing supplies.”

Binnicker says “we’ll have to keep a close eye on that.”
