The City of Eagle Lake in partnership with the Eagle Lake Community Development Foundation is excited to bring to you “Music on Parkway” this summer.  Due to the COVID-19 health pandemic and uncertainty about when it will be safe to hold community events again, we will keep you informed of event postponement information as it becomes available.  For now, we are continuing planning efforts and have tentatively pushed out music events to July 16th, August 20th, September 3rd, and September 17th.  A postcard will be mailed to all postal patrons with a 56024 zip code in the coming weeks with more detailed event information, including the name of the live band that will be playing at each event.

Music on Parkway is made possible by a matching grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.

What is Music on Parkway?  This is a newly created FREE music series that will be held outdoors and open to the public to encourage community and the collective enjoyment of music in an outdoor setting. Each event will consist of a short performance by a local musician, a live band, local food vendors, and more!

Message from the Music on Parkway Planning Committee: We hope to give the community something to look forward to this summer during this uncertain time.  We are excited to launch the Music on Parkway series on July 16th, if it deemed safe at that time to hold a community gathering.  We will be closely monitoring state and federal guidance on community gatherings in the months ahead and will adjust the series accordingly.
