With theaters closed, the Mankato Playhouse is bringing the show to the audience—and benefiting the community in the process.

The Mankato Playhouse will stream its “Community Cabaret” benefit show live on its Facebook page Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. CST. Donations during the show will benefit the COVID-19 Community Response Fund, a collaborative initiative of Greater Mankato Area United Way and the Mankato Area Foundation.

The family-friendly show will be hosted by Mankato Playhouse co-founder David Holmes and board president/actor Matthew Atwood and feature performers from the Greater Mankato area and beyond.
