The state’s stay at home order is creating challenges for people in abusive relationships. Erica Boyer-Kern is with Committee Against Domestic Abuse.

“Someone who is in an abusive situation probably isn’t able to talk on the phone with an advocate if the person who is hurting them is in the home,” said Boyer-Kern. “They usually have some respite but under the stay-at-home order that really isn’t happening right now.”
