Workers for Target’s delivery platform Shipt are planning a walkout across the country.

The workers say they aren’t being protected enough or paid enough, to continue performing shopping and delivering services as normal. Workers say they have been calling for more personal protective equipment for several weeks but that requests went ignored. Shipt said in a blog post on Monday that they will coordinate with Target to provide a mask and glove set to shoppers within the next two weeks. Along with the equipment, workers are asking for five dollars of hazard pay per completed order. Workers are also asking customers of Shipt to boycott the service nationwide on Friday.
