“I’m announcing the extension to the stay-at-home order until May fourth,” said Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. “We will align the public accommodation order, the order regarding bars and restaurants, from May first to May fourth.”
Walz made the announcement in a press conference Wednesday afternoon. The Governor says his message is a simple one.
“Stay home. Continue this,” said Walz. “We’re getting close to what we need, increasing hospital capacity, increasing ventilator capacity and keeping our first responders and their families safe.”
Walz says the state’s intention remains to save every life they can
