The numbers say Minnesota is doing well on a per capita basis when it comes to COVID-19 infections.
“We have 17 infections per 100,000 people which puts us best in the country,” said Walz. “But we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re preparing for what will come, a surge to our hospitals, a burden to our emergency rooms and a risk to our neighbors.”
Governor Tim Walz says the data is from the Centers for Disease. Walz reminds people with limited testing it still doesn’t give a true picture of the situation.
