As the “Stay at Home” order continues and while thousands of Minnesotans are off the job, Joe Kelly director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management offers a way you can help during the COVID-19 pandemic:

“First, you can volunteer. If a volunteer is supporting an organization that provides an essential service, like ensuring people have food to eat. You can get out of the house to do that important work. Foodbanks and food shelves need your help.”

Kelly also encourages you to donate blood if you are healthy and also says you can make a donation to the charity of your choice to help those in need during the coronavirus outbreak.
