AARP Minnesota has a new “Community Connections” link online to help people get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re really working to provide information and resources to help older people as well as those who are caring for older adults to protect themselves from the virus and spreading it to others.”

Spokesman Will Phillips says the site allows users to request a call from an AARP volunteer, or a trained counselor, create an account to make connecting with their families easier and join a safe, supportive online community for people facing health challenges and their caregivers.
