The Minnesota Senate last night (Thurs) unanimously passed a roughly 300-million-dollar COVID relief package, sending it to the desk of Governor Tim Walz — but the Republican majority says it doesn’t do enough to help small businesses:

“They’re working on the margins to begin with and then, when we’re shutting ’em down, they’re not gonna be coming back.”

…East Grand Forks Republican Mark Johnson. Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka says in the next round of COVID assistance, he expects more help for Minnesota’s small businesses.
