Law enforcement across the state are awaiting more direction from the state on how to enforce Governor Walz’s stay at home order. Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt admits it’s a little frustrating:
“What I do want to assure people is that nowhere have I seen where the military is going to be patrolling the streets, there is going to be checkpoint or anything. Likely what it would be is…see somebody out traveling, possibly the ability to stop them and just check.”
The “stay at home order” goes into effect at midnight.
