Governor Tim Walz has ordered hospitals to postpone elective surgeries because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Wendy Burt with the Minnesota Hospital Association says that will go a long way toward helping hospitals conserve supplies. She’s also urging everyone…

“Don’t come into the emergency room unless you are really sick and would truly go there and if you’re experiencing an emergency, but again, if you’re sick and you have questions, work through your primary care doctor and your clinic.”

Burt says the public can really help healthcare workers by continuing to exercise social distancing and by staying at home whenever possible.
