The Minnesota National Guard is closely monitoring the effects and impacts of the COVID-19 virus on soldiers, civilian employees and their families. Adjutant General Jon Jensen says no guard members have yet been asked to assist in state active duty in response to coronavirus…

“However we continue to ensure that the Minnesota National Guard is ready to respond to the needs of our communities when required.”

Jensen is urging Minnesota guard members to communicate within their chain of command and make preparations should they be activated to assist with the state response.
