While consumers deal with significant closures of many types of stores during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minnesota Grocers Association (MGA) wants customers to know:

“Grocery businesses in your community are going to start changing their hours a little bit. we’re doing some of that to be mindful so that we can take some of those extra steps do just a little bit deeper cleaning, a little bit deeper sanitizing to make sure that when you do come to get your food that it is safe.”

MGA President Jamie Pfuhl is also urging shoppers at the beginning of the day, when stores are first open, to give some time and extra consideration for neighbors in need.
