The Minnesota Department of Health is limiting the groups of people who are eligible to be tested for coronavirus due to a supply shortage, as the state confirms its first cases among health care workers. Spokeswoman Kris Ehresmann says there are 60 confirmed cases in the state but suspects there are many cases that have gone undiagnosed:

“We anticipate that the situation could get worse, but… what happens next really depends to a large extent on the behavior of Minnesotans.”

The state is restricting tests for COVID-19 to hospital patients, health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities.
