The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting a fourth and fifth case of COVID-19 in the state and both appear related to international travel. MDH spokeswoman Kris Ehresmann says the first case a resident in their 50’s in Olmsted County:

“This individual was symptomatic for a time at work and we are working with the workplace.”

The second case involves a Ramsey County resident in their 30’s:

“There are no community contacts, only household contacts. So that is definitely a best-case scenario.”

This brings the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state to five.   Ehresmann says the Anoka County person in their 30’s remains in critical condition and apparently had no underlying medical conditions. The other two cases are in Carver and Ramsey County.
