After a warm weekend, the National Weather Service is closely monitoring flood conditions in Southwestern Minnesota.

A flood warning is still in place for the Cottonwood River at New Ulm and above Springfield…the Redwood River near Redwood Falls and the Minnesota River through Redwood and Renville Counties. Forecasters say the snow is melting “efficiently” and entering the system. There have also been ice jams reported and more are possible as temperatures fluctuate.
