A group of parents concerned about busing in the Mankato district is rapidly growing.

The Facebook page Kato Together has more than 1,000 members. Their goal is to work with the school district to address busing safety concerns by asking the district to look into the costs of busing aides, the total number of students on buses and how the school addresses bullying.

Superintendent Paul Peterson says the same student code of conduct at school applies on buses.

There have been several issues involving bullying on Mankato buses that prompted this response.
