The state Health Department says two passengers who arrived at MSP Airport Tuesday afternoon from a part of Europe with a coronavirus outbreak have agreed to self-quarantine for 14 days. They both had contact with a person confirmed to have coronavirus. Doctor Richard Danila says the vast majority of people are very cooperative in such situations:

“In general, most states have similar laws where they have the legal authority to either isolate a patient or quarantine an exposed person. If necessary, those orders would be issued.”

Danila says five suspected coronavirus cases in Minnesota were tested Tuesday and all came back negative.
