Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Business will host a “fireside chat” with Kristin Duncanson and Sheryl Meshke, two prominent women leaders in agriculture, Monday, March 16 from 3:30-5 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium, located in Centennial Student Union.
The annual entrepreneurial-centered event, free and open to the public, is part of the Richard Schmitz Food Entrepreneurship Series. The theme of this year’s event is “Be Local, See Global.”
Duncanson is owner and partner of Highland Family Farms, a Minnesota-based corn, soy and hog farm. Meshke is co-president and CEO of Associated Milk Producers, Inc.
According to a College of Business preview of the event, attendees will “learn how innovation, supply chain management, sustainability and consumer needs are at the forefront of their daily decision making.”
