Across the country, county and state Farm Bureaus are making safety a priority through the Agricultural Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) week. The U.S. Agricultural Safety and Health Centers are joining the Farm Bureau to keep friends and family safe and healthy by recognizing common agricultural hazards with the theme “20:20 Vision on Ag Safety.” Each day of ASAP Week will have a specific focus.
During this week and throughout the year, Farm Bureau encourages farmers to emphasize a different aspect of safety each day. In Minnesota our focus is:
- Monday – Grain Bin Safety
- Tuesday – Transportation Safety
- Wednesday – Weather Disasters
- Thursday – Confined Spaces
- Friday – Farmer Wellness
