Fresh off of a 2nd-place finish behind Joe Biden in Saturday’s South Carolina primary, Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is hoping to shore up Minnesota support with a rally tonight in St. Paul.

Sanders faces a strong challenge from Senator Amy Klobuchar in her home state. The most recent Minnesota Poll shows Sanders trailing Klobuchar–but the poll’s margin of error suggests a tight race between the two front-runners here. Klobuchar, whose own rally was canceled amid protests Sunday night, says she has no plans to leave the race–that despite a 6th place finish in the South Carolina primary. Sanders’ rally is set for 7:30 pm tonight at RiverCentre.
