The driver and lone occupant in the fatality crash that occurred on February 18th, 2020 on Le Sueur County Road 28 in Lanesburgh Township has been identified as 17-year-old Blake Ryan Asher of Lonsdale, MN. The investigation indicated that Asher was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

On February 18th, 2020 at approximately 4:46 pm Le Sueur County Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on Le Sueur County Road 28, East of Le Sueur County Road 3 in Lanesburgh Township. Initial investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling Eastbound on County Road 28 and lost control due to ice/snow packed roadways. The vehicle then slid across the Westbound lane of County Road 28 entering the North ditch where the vehicle began to roll ultimately striking a tree causing severe damage to the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle a 17-year-old male of Lonsdale MN was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Assisting agencies were the Montgomery Police Department, New Prague Fire Department, North Memorial Ambulance Service and the Minnesota State Patrol.
