Senator Tina Smith is touting her newly formed bipartisan Rural Economic Working Group, which is meeting in Washington DC for the first time this week. The Senator created this group to highlight what’s working in Rural America and bring these ideas back to Congress. She’s had the chance to rural areas across the state—including Madelia. She spoke with KTOE News about what it means for our area.
She says anyone who has ideas they’d like to share, should call her office.
