A strong cold front will sweep across Minnesota Wednesday into Thursday. National Weather Service Meteorologist Brent Hewett:

“We are going to see a pretty big cold snap here coming down Wednesday afternoon and by Wednesday night winds will be gusting up into the ’30s for most of Minnesota and that will cause the windchills to drop fairly quickly during the day Wednesday and the actual temperature to drop over Wednesday night.)

You can expect wind chills dropping into the -25 to -35 range, particularly from the west into south-central Minnesota. Hewett says we haven’t seen windchills like this since last February.
