The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will host more than 30 candlelight events at state parks and trails this winter… including one this Saturday at Sakatah Lake State Park near Waterville.
Visitors can hike with twinkling stars and flickering candles Saturday between six and nine p-m.
The hike is a mile and a half long through the park’s forest. It’s suitable for hikers of all ages.
Treats are available near the bonfire at the end of the hike.
The candlelight hike is free, but a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is required for entry.
