Three men have been arrested in connection to a December 22nd incident that started after a man entered a Mankato hospital with a gunshot wound. Blue Earth County court records say 30-year-old Tierre Walton of Mankato, 22-year-old Patrick Pitts of Nicollet and 21-year-old Deiante Jones of Mankato were each charged with first-degree possession of a dangerous weapon or explosive, first-degree assault and first-degree entering a dwelling with the intent of committing a crime. Court records say Pitts was also charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a firearm as a felon and second-degree assault. Authorities say the investigation started when Walton entered a hospital with a gunshot wound on what he called a drug deal gone bad.
