It’s past Christmas and there’s still no deal regarding affordable insulin at the Minnesota Statehouse. State representative Jack Conisidine of Mankato says due to the current situation people are breaking the law to assist others.
“I saw an item on the news about a woman in the Twin Cities collecting insulin from dead people and running a dispensary,” said Considine. “Technically that’s illegal. I doubt anyone is going to bust her for it but it’s the situation we’re in.”
Considine says House DFL members and Republican senators have dug in regarding their point of view and neither side appears to be budging.
