A Saturday afternoon encounter led to a Mankato woman heading to prison. Authorities say 22-year-old Tywanda Johnson was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and theft. Court documents say Johnson is accused of stabbing a man who she met on the dating app Tag. The victim stated he had been showering at Johnson’s apartment when she began yelling at him to leave and he noticed 160 dollars was missing from his pants. Court documents say Johnson said the two had engaged in sexual activity and she feared for her safety following an argument.
