One of the three Minnesota National Guardsmen who were killed in a helicopter crash in Central Minnesota was a Madelia native. The Minnesota National Guard says 28-year-old James Rodgers was a St. James High School graduate who became a Warrant Officer as a UH-60 Black Hawk Pilot in 2013. Rodgers and two others were killed when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed around 15 miles southwest of St.Cloud on Thursday. Army investigators on the scene investigating the crash.
