Mankato public safety officials say they issued nearly 200 citations in the first two snow emergencies of the season. Public safety officials say they issued 170 citations from the snow emergency that was in place from last Wednesday night at eight p.m. to Thursday morning at eight a.m. Public Safety says they issued 15 more citations from the downtown snow emergency which was in place Sunday night at ten to Monday morning at eight a.m. Public safety says 124 vehicles were towed from last week’s snow emergency.
