The Mankato school board approved a construction management agreement with Kraus-Anderson at its meeting Monday night. Superintendent Paul Peterson says this action shouldn’t cause the public to jump to any conclusions.
“Bringing on a construction management firm at this time is not forecasting that there’s absolutely something happening at this time,” said Peterson.
Board chair Darren Wacker says the board action is the next step in the process.
“This is the natural progression in the process that has received extensive community input in order to determine what our needs are going to be.”
The district solicited proposals from construction management firms for the purpose of planning, preparing and designing facility solutions to address the District’s growth and maintenance needs.
