A Janesville woman was arrested Friday after attempting to elude authorities. The Blue Earth County sheriff’s department says 50-year-old Alysa Marie Hoeppner was charged with fleeing police in a motor vehicle and driving while impaired. Authorities say they attempted to pull over Hoeppner’s vehicle near Madison Lake when Hoeppner failed to stop. The sheriff’s office says the chase spanned five miles with top speeds of 70 miles per hour when Hoeppner pulled to the side of the ride two miles into Le Sueur County.
