Seven immediate area businesses have received grants from the State of Minnesota’s PIPELINE-or Private Investment, Public Education, Labor, and Industry Experience-Program. The program provides dual training opportunities for employees, a combination of on-the-job training paired with related instruction. The money will allow apprentices to take classes at South Central College. The Mankato businesses which will receive grants include Dotson Iron Castings, Jones Metal, The Mankato Clinic, Kato Engineering, and V-Tech. Alina Health in New Ulm and Winegar in Waseca will also receive PIPELINE grants.
