The Blue Earth County sheriff’s office says foul play is not suspected at this time in the death of Shane Zephier. The body of the 23-year old Minneapolis man was found in a wooded area northeast of Highway 83 and County Road 12 in rural Mankato on the morning on October tenth. Authorities say the Ramsey County Medical Examiner has listed the cause of death as undetermined with no findings of trauma or injury to his body. The sheriff’s office says they will continue to investigate relevant information provided by the public regarding the matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office. Prior to a hunter finding his remains last month, Zephier was last seen leaving the Blue Earth County Jail on August 27th.
