Sun Country Airlines today launched bus service in partnership with Landline at Mankato Regional Airport. Guests can now book bus segments as a part of their air travel itinerary directly on This new partnership aims to make air travel more affordable and accessible to Mankato-area residents, bringing Sun Country into more communities across the state of Minnesota.

“Making travel more accessible for our leisure travelers is always top of mind for us,” said Sun Country CEO Jude Bricker. “Our new partnership with Landline allows us to do just that. We will be able to transport our guests from Mankato and its surrounding areas comfortably and affordably to their favorite warm-weather destinations this winter.”

Guests can visit and list Mankato Regional Airport as their departure city to see the more than 80 Sun Country destinations available to them. Their itineraries will include a connection through the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport and guests can clearly see which segment of their itinerary is a bus and which is a flight. Sun Country passengers who wish to check luggage will be able to do so when they check in with Landline and have their luggage transferred directly to the plane, creating a seamless connecting “flight.” Landline motor coaches include free Wi-Fi, reclining leather seats, and an onboard snack and beverage service.

Connections with Landline are on sale now with fares starting as low as $81* one-way to Las Vegas. Service begins November 4, operating five roundtrips between Mankato and MSP.
