A 28-year-old Blooming Prairie man is injured after being hit by a pickup.
According to the State Patrol, Jayson Chavez was walking on 2nd Street in Blooming Prairie when a pickup, driven by 40-year-old Tyler Hill, also of Blooming Prairie, turned southbound on Highway 218 from 2nd Street.
That’s when the two collided.
The pedestrian has non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup has none. No alcohol was involved.
