A 2-year-old boy has life-threatening injuries after a crash in Steele County. According to the State Patrol, Macoy Schmidke of St. Paul was taken to Alina Hospital, along with another passenger after the crash.
The Patrol says two vehicles were stationary on Highway 30 at 14th Avenue South East in Summit Township.
That’s when a pickup collided with the rear of one of the vehicles, which then collided, with the rear of the other vehicle.
The driver of the pickup is 31-year-old Anthony Ingram of Blooming Prairie. Ingram and two others involved in the crash have no injuries.
A 29-year-old passenger in one of the cars that were rear-ended has non-life threatening injuries. Everyone was wearing a seatbelt and no alcohol was involved.
