Several groups have announced their plans to protest President Trump’s visit to Minneapolis later today (THU). One of those groups is the Council on Islamic-American Relations-Minnesota (CAIR-MN).

“The Muslim community has been impacted by this president’s language, particularly his Islamophobia, as well as his policies including the Muslim ban that continues to separate families here in Minneapolis from their loved ones due to his policy.”

Spokesman Jaylani Hussien says it will be a peaceful protest that shows a coalition of Minnesotans reject the president’s rhetoric and policies. Trump is hosting a rally at Target Center in Minneapolis as part of his campaign to win the state in the 2020 election.
