Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arredando says when President Trump rallies at Target Center Thursday the safety of all those participating is their top priority.
In a statement Arredando emphasized the word ALL in capital letters…noting MPD plans to have a “highly visible and robust police presence” in the downtown area. Car and foot traffic will be reduced, with signs clearly marking the closures. Arredando says criminal conduct by anyone will not be tolerated. He further added people planning to attend not bring things like back packs, strollers, tents, coolers, wagons, drones, bikes, flag poles, alcohol or anything that could be used as a weapon.
